Found a design you love, but the color isn't quite right? Maybe you want the exact shade of blue from the Roseville vase inherited from Grandma. Or you found the most amazing wallpaper hidden in your house. Possibly you want help picking a pattern combination and planning your room.

Whatever it is, we'd love to assist.

Sometimes, even asking for a price on custom work can be scary. Or you might think it's unaffordable. Don't worry, there are no surprises here! All custom design work is quoted on an hourly basis. Once a custom design quote has been accepted, half of the amount is due at the beginning of the job, with the remainder due upon acceptance. Remember, quotes are free! You're not obligated to anything until the quote is accepted.

To customize an existing design:
Existing designs can be customized in two different ways – color and size. This option is often the most affordable choice for achieving a custom look.

Size
That's right, most of our patterns will allow you to scale the size. Suppose, for instance that the dining room of your 1927 bungalow has a molding placed 2/3 of the way up the wall, with wainscoting below. You've found an Arts & Crafts border you love, but it doesn't quite fit into the 19" space you have to work with. With our design services, we can easily size this border to exactly fit your dimensions. This can give you a completely custom look without a hefty price tag.

Color
In most cases, colors on our designs can be modified or changed. This is somewhat dependant on the specific design, so we will advise you on exactly what is possible.

Paper
We may have additional paper stock choices available that will allow you to print an existing pattern on a metallic, specialty paper. For use in hard use areas, most patterns can also be printed on vinyl. We can also print on sheets rather than rolls.

Other Customizations
For our Children's Collection, many wallpapers can have your child's name or a phrase added to a border. We offer a variety of styles and colors straight off the website, or can accommodate special requests.

While our interactive Room Designer is great, sometimes it's helpful to talk to one of our design experts. Plus, we LOVE designing rooms. It's fun for both the designer and the client. We'll work with you to make the room you've always wanted a reality.

Reproduce a pattern
Found something you can't live without? Have it reproduced! Want something completely different? Have a custom pattern designed from scratch! As with our other services, a design quote will be provided. We love a challenge, and will reproduce any styles or designs you'd like. For more modern style choices, vinyl is also possible. We will reproduce any style, from Colonial to 60's psychedelic.
